Terms and conditions

Effective November 3, 2026

  1. Parties and scope

These terms apply to services provided by Royal Lion Logistics SAS de CV ("Royal Lion Express") to its customers.

Royal Lion Express provides freight brokerage and transportation coordination services. Transportation is performed by an authorized carrier engaged for each service.

  2. Quote validity

Quotes are valid for 5 business days from issue.

For international services, prices may change in the event of significant fluctuations in exchange rates or tariffs.

  3. Shipment details

The customer must accurately provide the shipment details: commodity, dimensions, weight, pickup and delivery points and special requirements.

Any error or change in the details may affect the cost and scheduling of the service.

  4. Confirmation and payment

To confirm the service, the customer approves the quote by email and prepays 100% of the service before loading. The truck is not dispatched without confirmed payment.

Bank fees are paid by the customer.

Domestic services are paid in Mexican pesos (MXN) and international services in U.S. dollars (USD).

Past-due amounts may accrue late interest as set out in the invoice or agreement.

  5. Cancellations and TONU

If a shipment is cancelled before the truck arrives at pickup, the payment is refunded less any charges already incurred by the carrier.

If a shipment is cancelled after the truck has arrived at pickup, a cancellation fee (TONU, Truck Order Not Used) of 50% of the freight applies.

For international services, the TONU may vary according to the carrier's rates and crossing costs.

  6. Loading and transit time

The customer has 2 free hours for loading. After that, each additional hour is billed: 200 USD for international services and 2,000 MXN for domestic services.

Waiting time at delivery is billed at the carrier's rate.

Transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

  7. Documentation

Depending on the service, the following are required: commercial invoice, carta porte or bill of lading, and crossing permits for international moves.

Domestic moves within Mexico do not require customs clearance, DODA or crossing permits.

The customer is responsible for providing complete documentation before loading. Errors or missing documents may affect transit times and generate additional charges.

Customs inspections and holds, and their cost, are the customer's responsibility.

Fines for overweight, over-dimensional or undeclared hazardous freight are the customer's responsibility.

  8. Prohibited goods

We do not transport illegal goods, weapons or goods whose possession or transport is prohibited.

Hazardous materials are accepted only with prior written notice, proper documentation and equipment, and confirmation from Royal Lion Express.

  9. Tracking

    Status updates are provided periodically.

For international services, additional notifications are provided during the border crossing.

  10. VAT and currency

Domestic services: invoices include applicable VAT and are paid in MXN.

International services: no VAT is charged and payment is made in USD.

  11. Liability and proof of delivery

Liability for the goods ends when the proof of delivery (POD) is signed.

Liability for loss or damage rests with the carrier as provided by applicable law and its insurance policy.

Royal Lion Express is not liable for damage or loss resulting from documentation errors, inadequate packaging or cargo handling outside its management.

  12. Claims

Any damage or shortage must be noted on the proof of delivery and reported in writing, with photographs, within 5 days of delivery.

  13. Cargo insurance

We recommend that the customer purchase cargo insurance covering damage, loss or incidents during transportation. Royal Lion Express can help obtain a quote.

  14. Contingencies

In cases of force majeure (road blockades, customs issues, extreme weather and similar events), preventive actions are coordinated and the customer is notified.

  15. Credit

Credit is subject to evaluation. No more than one service on credit is granted until the previous invoice is paid.

The customer must provide proof of payment for each transaction to continue service.

  16. Non-solicitation

The customer agrees not to hire carriers introduced by Royal Lion Express directly for the same services for 12 months after the last service.

  17. Updates

Royal Lion Express may update these terms at any time. Significant changes are notified to customers and published on this page.

  18. Acceptance

Approval of the quote and payment for the service constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  19. Jurisdiction

For the interpretation and performance of these terms, the parties submit to the applicable laws and the competent courts of the city of Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico, unless otherwise agreed.
